Where to swim

The beaches of Hydra are mostly pebbled but they have picturesque ambience.

 

Spilia

Just one minute walking in the left side of the harbor. There are the famous rocks of Spilia. Next to the rocks is located the bar-restaurant Spilia.

Hydronetta

It is located next to Spilia. It is a rocky area with the bar Hydronetta where you can enjoy your cocktail viewing the amazing sunset.

Avlaki

It is a small pebble beach just five minutes walking in the left side of the harbor. You’ll have to descend some steps to access the beach and enjoy the clear water of Saronikos Golf.

Kamini

Is an organized pebble beach next to Kamini port. There is located and the bar restaurant Castello with the great architecture and the unforgettable cocktails. You can reach there either on foot, about 10 minutes walking to the left side of the harbor of Hydra or by boat departure every half an hour from the port of Hydra.

Vlychos

Organized pebble beach after Kamini. You can get there either on foot (about 20 minutes walking) or by boat from the post of Hydra, and enjoy the clear blue waters.

Plakes Vlychos

You can enjoy the organized pebble beach in the area of Plakes Vlychos, either by boat from the port or if you like walking take a 40 minute coastline walking in the left side of the port of Hydra. If you prefer to have your private beach you can try to walk next to the rocks and reach one of them.

Bisti

It is an organized beach with turquoise waters next to a pine tree forest. The access to the beach is possible only with the fast boats that departure daily from the post of Hydra.

Saint Nicholas

It is a big golf with pebbles and clear blue waters. The beach is organized and accessible only with the fast boats that departures daily from the port of Hydra.

Mandraki

It is the only sand beach in Hydra. It is organized and you can visit the area either by boat from the port or on foot (about 20 minutes walking in the right side of the port).
