How to reach Hydra Island

By Car

From Athens the distance is 180 Klm. The trip lasts approx. 2 and a half hour.
Via the National road Athens-Korinthos, take the exit to Epidavros.

Follow the route and signs to Hydra, Spetses and after 70 km

either you take the exit toward Epidavrou – Kosta
(Poros – Hydra Signs) in your left hand:

Or follow the signs to Ermioni in your right hand:

The final destination is Metochi Ermioni.

You leave your car to Metochi and then pass to Hydra either by sea taxi (+30 2298053690) or the daily routes with Freedom (click here).

From Metochi to Hydra is about 10 minutes.

Cars are not permitted.

By Hydrofoils from Piraeus port there are every day trips, lasts 1,5 hours.
